finally

July 20th, 2009 by Brittney

This post is incredibly image & video heavy! Sorry, kids with slow connections!

After some hiccups and terrible machine burps, my Dad has restored life to my desktop computer. (It’s alive… It’s alive, it’s moving, it’s alive, IT’S ALIVE!!!… ahem, whoops.)

So… I posted 1/2 of the photos from my Central Oregon trip about a week ago. The rest of the trip was highlighted with miniature donkeys and happy dogs at a waterfall. Super fun, no?

Aren’t miniature donkeys the cutest stinking thing you’ve ever seen?! I certainly think so.

This is Sahalie Falls, AKA the coolest falls ever, in my opinion.

Aaand this is Loki, who was delighted to swim in the resevoir at the end of the hike.

I did find a few cool things on my trip! I got this sweet Morroccan belt at an antique store for $10. I don’t know if it would really be classified as an “antique”, but it’s certainly unique and makes a statement!

This purchase will probably go along with my thigh-high snakeskin boot purchase in the realms of “BEST PURCHASE EVER”. “When will I wear it?!” I asked, and my best friend responded, “Uh, EVERYWHERE!” It works!

It’s my new favourite outfit, I’m not going to lie.

I also found this little ashtray for $6. With the use of some goo-gone it’s insanely adorable, and the perfect place to keep my pearl and rhinestone earrings seperate from the rest of my collection!

It’s so cute! I don’t care that it’s an ash tray, I love it! Leetle birdies!

I am so very glad to be home, and in my own creative space again, after a week of vacation and a week of dog-sitting. It is so very frustrating to wake up on July 20th and realize that your summer has been more stressful and hectic than your average week of school!

Hopefully now we can start getting into the “Fun Swing” of summer! How has yours been, so far?

Oh, how I wish I could’ve gone along with you, lady! The donkeys! The gorgeous scenery! The AMAAZZING thrifting luck! Glad you had such a blast.

Is that you gasping “miniature donkehs! Miniature donkehs!” in the first video? Because we should become friends in real life, ASAP.

@Sal Okay, so next time? You’re coming! It was super fun!

@amanda YES. That totally is me. I’m a big dork. I love it. Let’s meet!

OMG those donkeys. I would have smuggled one home with me if I were you.

PFFFFF. I miss you guys so much! Those videos had me cracking up just from the commentary. Who is Loki? Does Savannah have a PUPPY?

    Also: You are hot.

Also also: tell Oregon it’s not allowed to be 100 degrees when I’m there.

Also also also: I KNOW MAN. Stupid summer. I work all this week and all next week, fly out for the weekend+ of awesome, and then immediately start my last full year of veterinary classes. WHUT.
