your arms are totally not too large. I am self conscious about my arms too, so I get it, but I hope you don’t deprive yourself of wearing something you love for arm-worry… embrace your arms and love yourself even if you don’t feel model-perfect. You’re cute! <3

@Vanessa Seriously! Nobody knows what size those pants are, as long as they look nice. 100% of the people I talk to about my size assume I’m a size 10 and I am… more than a size 10, which is sweet, but says a lot about how the clothes I wear fit. Yay!

This is great advice! I’m glad you addressed the issue of people trying on things that are too big or small. Personally, one of the things I find stupidly difficult about shopping is the idea of going up a size. I think a lot of girls have a “thing” about that. A couple of years ago, I was a much smaller size, and I admit that I have completely avoided buying new pants (other than the one pair of jeans I currently own, in the correct size, BTW) because I don’t want to buy them in a size *cough cough ahem*. No one is going to look into your pants or shirt to check what size it is. It can be hard to face something that seems to quantify how not okay your body is, but no one is really going to know the difference.
