market day
Today I ventured to Portland’s Saturday Market (even though today was Sunday) and this is what I wore!

New yellow “scooter” (skirt with inner shorts. I always thought this was a Scort?!) on clearance for $13, purchased on a whim, and also because my friend Liz looks amazing in her yellow shorts and I wanted to be cool like her.
Also wearing yellow necklace + button earrings, and a black tank.
I felt rather cute today, I’m not going to lie. Though I found it highly amusing that my friend Nikki hopped out of her car this morning… to reveal that she too was wearing yellow shorts! It’s okay though, matching is totally in as long as you’re friends.

Target apple shoes. $6 from Goodwill.
Black socks? Work better than white ones, apparently. I had to try on seven different pairs of socks before I settled with these. Hahahaa.

Waiting for the MAX. (Free, because I have a pass! AWESOME.)
I felt like I should be playing tennis in the 50’s, or something.
So we went to the Market! On the train, a creepy dude patted my friend Katy’s arm a lot, and we all were extremely uncomfortable! When we finally got to the Market, we explored the booths, looking at carniverous plants, lots of cat-nip toys, and tie-dyed wrap skirts. I had peach bubble tea and found some new cool earrings.
We also tried on hats.
So tell me, what do you look at when you go to the market in your city?
