    Love it!

    (apparently that first bit was too short to be a real comment. I love the point you were making AND your handwriting)

    You’re brilliant, you know that? My handwriting has totally deteriorated over the past few years, but I should reverse that trend. Especially because I know TONS of folks who love nothing more than receiving a handwritten note in the mail …

    This? Is the very definition of awesome.

    I rather like my own handwriting, specifically my cursive, which is almost totally illegible and has been likened to Arabic. I’ve forced myself to work on printing more, just so other people could read what I’ve written.

    “Lugubrious Passion” sounds like the name of Jack Black’s indie emo band.

    @Linnaea Thanks! :D I’m glad you like it, and love that you posted a comment for me!

    @Sal Awww, thank you. You should totally post in your handwriting. It’s a lot of work, but totally fun.

    @amanda The handwriting on your letter partially inspired this post! I am enamored of your lettering.

    @Laura “Lugubrious Passion” is totally the name of a band you would go see.

    Ooo I totally want to do this. I’ll have to force the boy to let me hijack his scanner sometime.

    @Vanessa Dooooo it!!

    you have the prettiest handwriting! i can’t agree more with your thoughts regarding the handwritten word as compared to typed out words.

    :o)

    Hi! I found you through Sarah Von’s blog. And I’m going to do this next week! I’ve long held that handwritten notes send some tiny part of yourself along with them, especially as compared to the sterility of email.
