and we don’t mean
The other day, before sending my Aunt and Uncle back down under, I bought a lemon at the local grocery for fifty cents and carved a heart in it! (…since it is my new theme!)
This turned into my Uncle Bob holding the lamp and being my general “best boy”, helping me come up with ideas and lighting effects and such. Neither of us are super photo geniuses, but they turned out good! And it was crazy fun.

I totally look drunk here. Actually wait, yeah, two glasses of wine. It’ll do it.

This is my ‘BETTER THAN YOU’ face. Don’t you feel… less cool than me?!

The one I like best. After being seriously photoshopped. I don’t know. I like it.
What do you think?
I would like to reccommend taking photographs of fruit as a wacky mood lifter. At one point I had four assistants helping me photograph that lemon. My Dad walked in, saw us crowded around the piece of fruit, all holding various lamps and leaning in closely, blinked a few times, and walked out, muttering something that sounded like, “never understand you people….”. Hee!
Also I found a vintage lemon yellow Mercedes Benz for sale in my neighborhood today. You bet I’m going to take pictures of it. And do my best to get my Dad to buy it for me. Even though I don’t drive.

Cute! I like the 4th one best. Did you fill it with coffee grounds or something?

I totally did! It was Bobby’s idea… we later sprayed it with PAM to make it shiny, which basically only made it gross, haha.

This is my “SERIOUSLY JEALOUS OF YOUR LIP COLOR” face! But oh wait, you can’t see it because I’m sitting at home alone. Hmm…Maybe I’ll give you this face in real life tomorrow. Oh god that sounded like a threat. I guess I’ll stop this comment now.

Oh wow! I’ll be on my guard tomorrow, and how about I bring that tube of lipstick? Though as a warning, I have the complexion that everyone hates: The “looks better than you in the lip colour you most desire” complexion. I’m not even kidding.

Oh, god, I LOVE this picture with the lemon and the sweet hat with the yellow. That’s so amazingly adorable!
I’m sad that Bob and Tina have left now, although it sounds like you all had lots of fun.
