Phhht. This post had me squeaking with laughter. Unexpected prince charming was omgreallyfreakingunexpected. I am glad to hear you will be going again. I feel you could compose a few memoirs off of this.

OMG.

Can you imagine? “Memoirs of an Amateur Salsa Dancing College Student”. I would buy it.

Everyone’s “Rudolfo” will be different. And who you find absolutely perfect as a dancer is generally rarely the same as who you’d want to date, in my experience. It happens, but rarely. Older guys are generally better dancers b/c they’ve done it longer. One of my favorite leads is retired.

@Walter: I’m glad I made you laugh! And really, new snakeskin boots and an open shirt always gets the ladies’ attentions, regardless of what your girlfriend says!

@Amanda: I KNOW! I count myself lucky. I’m sure that if and when I go back he’ll find me again, which is okay. We’ll see how that works out. I’m more interested in improving and impressing some of the (ahem) younger specimens at the club, ahahaa.

@Vanessa: It was. SO AWKWARD! But also amazing, yes. Thanks, and I’m glad you enjoyed! By the end of the evening I was feeling a lot less awkward than I normally do, which was a sweet little ego-boost!

Thanks. This post had me cracking up.

Looks like I’m definitely doing something wrong though when it comes to dressing.

Mental note to self: open shirt till navel, use lots of gel and wear snakeskin boots.
