a broken telephone

Working on this posting-more-often-thing.

I wrote out the front line to the Fiest song 1234 a few days ago and have been thinking about it ever since. I love the song, but I love the sentiment.

Tell me more often that you love me. Tell everyone more often that you love them.

I’ve always tried to live my life this way, sometimes startling friends with these words, but it’s true. There are so many kinds of love, and the love we share is so important, whether they’re the friend you talk to about your relationships, or the friend you make inappropriate jokes with, or the friend who helps you when you can’t figure out your math homework.

I have given so many people peices of my heart, and I want them to know how much they mean to me. Sometimes this means that I frighten them off, or I get a response along the lines of: “Uhm, oookayyy…?” but that’s all right. I just want them to know: I enjoy them. I love them, for what they put into my life.

Is it bad to love so many people? I think it’s one of the best things about this world.

Anyway, I love these words, and intend on putting them on a wall in my future grown-up-girl apartment.

About lemon love

Brittney, who is also known as "Inkytwist" and "Lemon Love", is a 20-something college student (who is freaked out by the fact that she's now officially a '20-something') who likes art, the internet, dogs and correcting problems in html. No, really.
